Audrey Mae (Noegel) Vandenberg

Audrey Mae Vandenberg, (nee Noegel), age 85, of West Bend, passed away Tuesday November 10, 2015 at The Lighthouse of West Bend.

She was born on December 6, 1929 in Richfield to the late Anthony and Kathryn (nee Worf) Noegel, and was united in marriage to Wilmer “Bill” Vandenberg on October 4, 1952 at Holy Angles Catholic Church, West Bend.

Audrey was formerly employed by the West Bend Company for over 20 years.

She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Women of the Moose West Bend Lodge # 1398, Fred A. Schaefer V.F.W. Post # 1393 Ladies Auxiliary, and St. Joseph’s Ladies Auxiliary.

Audrey’s love of family always came first in life. Whether it was her children or grandchildren’s events.

Those left behind to cherish Audrey’s memory include 5 children, Barbara Vandenberg of West Bend, Holly (John) Borland of Kewaskum, Bill (Jacalyn) Vandenberg of West Bend, Gayle Vandenberg of West Bend, and Jane (Mike) Gundrum of Plymouth; 9 grandchildren, Craig (special friend Tammy Neitzel) Vandenberg, Valerie Vandenberg, Kathryn (Jake) Smith, Nic (Heather) Gundrum, Kayla (special friend Cassidy Buchanan-Gauthier) Gundrum, Jon Zautner, Claire (Rob) Brady, John Borland, and Kevin Borland; a great-grandson, Odin Buchanan-Gauthier; sister, Bonnie (Tom) Hensiak of Milwaukee; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Kathryn; husband, Bill; daughter, Nancy Vandenberg; son, Daniel Vandenberg; two brothers, Tony Noegel, and Tom Noegel.

Funeral services in remembrance of Audrey will be held on Friday November 13th at 6:00 pm at the Myrhum – Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington St.) West Bend.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will be in Washington County Memorial Park on Saturday at 10:00 am.

Memorials to the Alzheimers Association are  appreciated by the family.

The family wishes to extend their sincere graditude to Dr. Gibson, Seasons Hospice, and the staff of The Lighthouse, for the loving care Audrey recieved.
