Daniel C. "Boone" Buddenhagen

Daniel C. “Boone” Buddenhagen, age 65, of Campbellsport, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Boone was born on November 6, 1951, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, the son of the late Ervin and Laura Buddenhagen. On March 13, 1971, he was united in marriage to Joan Gavin at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. Boone was self-employed most of his life. He enjoyed playing cards, helping people on the farm, and living life to the fullest.

Those Boone leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Joan; a son, Travis (Julie) Buddenhagen of Cambellsport; two grandchildren, Marie and Harvey Buddenhagen; a brother, Bruce (Marilyn) Buddenhagen; two sisters, Phyllis (Bruce) Svingen and Kay (Dewayne) Mayer; three brothers-in-law, Russ (Susie) Gavin, Roger (Tracey) Gavin and Craig (Jeanie) Gavin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Boone is preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Joyce and Robert Gavin.

Funeral services for Boon will held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 215 Forest Avenue, in Kewaskum with Rev. Neil Zinthefer officiating. Entombment will take place on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac.

Boone’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. service.
