Douglas A. "Doug" Kurz

Douglas A. “Doug” Kurz, 60, of Theresa, was called home to be with his Lord on Monday, January 8, 2018. He was born on September 23, 1957 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Arthur Kurz and Dorothy Wandel. After graduating from James Madison High School, he joined the U.S. Army where he was in the 84th Division Band. Doug worked as a Machinist at Eaton Corporation and worked in Tool and Die at Supply One for many years.

Those Doug leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Vickie; children, Alysha Kurz and Anthony (Daniele Gerth) Kurz; his parents, Arthur Kurz and Dorothy (the late Richard) Wandel; siblings, Lori (Rome) Deming, Barb (Tom) Riley, and Art (Teresa) Kurz. He is further survived by his fur-baby, Maggie; and grand-fur babies, Hazel, Ash, and Ari; step-siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service in remembrance of Doug will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 350 Main St. Lomira, WI. 53048. Doug’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to be given to a charity decided at a later date.
