Dear Monica, Doris, and Ron,

We were very saddened to learn of your dad's passing.  Our deepest sympathy to each of you and your families.  Knowing your dad was a very special experience.  He was undoubtedly one of a kind, a very special person.  We admired him very much, and always experience a touch of saddness when we pass "John's Country Inn" and see it sitting idle.  He and your mom worked tirelessly to make it such a success.

Our best wishes,

Bob & Gloria

John was someone we will never forget.  He was a good friend and quite a character.  He "said it like he saw it".  He had a good business sense and could play a mean hand of cards.  Rest in peace John.

To the Klippel Family,
Our sympathies to all of you during this difficult time.  May all of the memories that you have with your dad get you through the difficult days that lie ahead.  But remember he and your mom are finally together again.  We are just jealous that all of their heavenly neighbors are getting the best darn fish fries around!!
So sorry to hear of your loss~ The Plier's - Dan, Tracy, Spencer and Shawna

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. The two of them have touched so many lives in a way that brings the meaning of "pay it forward" to a heightened sense of truth.

We had so many good times with John over the years whether it was visiting him at his home, helping him on building projects, going out for lunch by Greg's or by Wayne, or stopping in for excellent food, drinks, and laughter at John's Country Inn for many, many years.  If only the walls in the Continental Room could talk!  He was a dear friend of ours whose wit and humor will be missed. They broke the mold after J.K. was born!  Our deepest sympathy to all of John's family during this difficult time.
