Joseph Gerald “Yogi” Greenley, passed away on May 23, 2017, at the age of 89 years. Joe was born in Milwaukee on August 11, 1927. He married Eunice Fay Crook on November 3, 1946.

Joe worked hard to raise his children and take care of his family. He retired after 30 years working at A.O. Smith Corp. He was a proud member of the IAMAW, member of the Masonic Day-Lite Lodge #358 of West Bend and the Milwaukee Shriner’s Temple.

His hobbies included raising beagles, geese, goats, rabbits, and tinkering in his garage. Joe and Eunice’s garden was shared by many friends and relatives. Joe loved attending car swap shows at Iloa and Jefferson with his dear friend, Fred Tietzen.

Joe is survived by his wife, Eunice, of 71 years; his sons, Michael (Jeanne) Greenley and David (Renee) Greenley; his daughter, Linda (Richard) Bertram; his sister, Patricia (the late Josephe) Carini; sisters-in-law, Gwendolyn (the late Charles) Greenley and Beverly (the late Kenneth) Greenley; and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In honor of Joe’s wishes, no services will be held. A private family get-together will be held at a later date.

The Family would like to thank Season’s Hospice and New Perspective Assisted Living for their care and understanding.
