Richard “Dick” Edward Marx passed away in his sleep at his home on September 6, 2016.
He was born July 8, 1949 to Ralph and Marguerite (nee Urban) Marx. Dick grew up in Kewaskum and graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1967. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Marquette University.
Dick worked for Regal Ware for many years and held management positions in their Kewaskum, WI, Wooster, OH, Jackson, MS, and Little Rock, AR, facilities. Dick later moved to the Minneapolis area where he worked in accounting positions for several companies. Dick was retired at the time of his death and living in Minneapolis.
Dick is survived by his sisters, Jan Marx of West Bend, WI and Jeanne (Vern) Ronhovde of Eagan, MN; nephews, Nick Ronhovde and Adam Ronhovde of Eagan, MN; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marguerite Marx; and his grandparents, Adam and Helen Urban and John and Augusta Marx.
A memorial service in remembrance of Dick will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Myrhum Patten Miller and Kietzer Funeral Home (215 Forest Ave. Kewaskum, WI 53040). Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Burial of Dick’s cremated remains will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
