Margaret Ann (Winter) Holle

Margaret Holle went to be with her husband Jay in eternal life on January 16, 2024 at the age of 75.

Born in Green Bay on April 26, 1948, Margaret was one of three daughters of the late Lee and Evelyn (nee Greenwood) Winter. She attended grade school starting in a one-room school near Gillett, Wisconsin where she grew up. She then went to Gillett High School, and completed her education with Minneapolis Business College and MIT for Commercial Art in Milwaukee. In her professional endeavors, she worked with Folger’s Coffee Company, Crocker Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco and Travelers Insurance in San Rafael, California doing telecommunications, computer, and finance.

She met Jay Holle, and they wed on September 29, 1973 in San Francisco. Jay passed away on October 17, 2022. Together, Margaret and Jay lived for many years in Woodacre, California.  Upon their retirement, they enjoyed living in many places, such as Utah, Arizona, and Michigan, before coming to West Bend at Cedar Ridge where they called home.

Margaret was strong in her faith; she worked as a deacon for her church, and enjoyed attending bible studies at Hope Reformed Church. Later in life, Margaret and Jay were members of Community Church in West Bend. She also enjoyed photography, and capturing the beauty of the world to share with others.

She leaves behind her sisters, Janice (the late Charles “Tip”) Yager and Joy (Ray) Lester; nephews and niece, Paul Yager, Kristine Yager Sellers and Jason Lester who reside in Northern California as well as a number of friends and relatives.

VISITATION: Margaret’s family will greet relatives and friends on what would be Margaret’s 76th birthday, Friday, April 26, 2024 at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service (1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend). The visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

SERVICE: A memorial service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow. Margaret’s cremated remains will be placed with her husband in Cedar Community Memorial Garden.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Margaret's name to a charity of your choice are appreciated by the family.
