Carl John Rogne, age 84, Town of Farmington, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2018 at Clement J. Zablocki V.A. Medical Center in Milwaukee.
He was born in Milwaukee on August 29, 1934 to Carl and Ella (nee Schmidt) Rogne. He spent his childhood in Milwaukee and later moved to Camp Awana. Carl graduated from Random Lake High School. He served his country in the United States Army as a Morse Code Interceptor from September 14, 1956 to June 25, 1959.
Carl is survived by his children, Steven Rogne, Pamela (special friend Jeramy Ellner) Rogne, Samuel (Monique) Rogne; grandchildren, Caleb Matthew Garrison, Emery Lee Beck, Mykenzie Lee Rogne, Emelia Joy Ellner and Anna Mae Rogne; siblings, Ruth (Edwin) Opliger, Ted (Jan) Rogne, and Wendy (Mark) Hoefert; and sisters-in-law, Kay Rogne and Karen Rogne, further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Alice (Orville) Schaeuble, June (Elton) Sonnabend, Lois (special friend John) Landvatter, David Rogne and Philip Rogne.
Funeral Service for Carl will be on Friday, November 9 at 5:00 p.m. at Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home (1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI 53095).
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Carl’s family preferred.
