David P. Stommel, 57, of Adell, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee.
He was born on May 10, 1959 to Charles and Ramona (nee Seil) Stommel in Hustiford, WI. He graduated from Slinger High School in 1977. David liked to garden and build things, he was a handyman. He enjoyed going on an annual trip to Rhinelander for the country music fest called the Hodag. He was always willing to help other people. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Those David leave behind to cherish his memory include his mother, Ramona Stommel; two sisters, Katherine (Brian) Emmer and Carol (Gregg) Hutchison; two brothers, Alan Stommel and Robert Stommel; many aunts and uncles; other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Stommel.
A funeral service in remembrance of David will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 215 Forest Ave, Kewaskum. Father Rick Stoffel will officiate. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
