Delores M. Bores

Delores M. Bores, 71, of Saukville, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017.

Delores was born on October 6, 1945, in Port Washington, the daughter of the late Milton and Lauretta Glander. On October 14, 1972, she was united in marriage to Lee Bores at St. John Lutheran Church in Fredonia. Lee preceded Delores in death on January 20, 2007.

Delores was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Fredonia. She was very active in the Waubeka 4-H and was the treasurer for the Blue Ribbon Small Animal Sale at Ozaukee County Fair for many years. Delores was a member of the Ozaukee County Farm Bureau. She farmed alongside her husband Lee for numerous years and enjoyed canning, raising chickens and turkeys, and gardening.

Those Delores leaves behind to cherish her memory include four children, Lynn (Donald) Dorn of Kewaskum, John Bores of Saukville, Julie (Gary) Depies of Adell, and Amy (Peter) Schinker of West Bend; six grandchildren, Abigale and Casey Bores, Jessica, Kyra, Wyatt, and Owen Depies; two sisters, Mardell Glander of Grafton and Grace (William McCaskie) Glander of Apple Valley, Minnesota; a brother-in-law, David (Barbara) Bores of Hartford; two nieces, Michelle (Jerry) Kinnard and Deborah (Barry) Dye, both of Milwaukee; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Delores was preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Arthur and Ertel Bores.

Funeral services for Delores will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2017, at St. John Lutheran Church, 824 Fredonia Avenue, in Fredonia. Rev. Robert Zick will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Delores’ family will greet relatives and friends at the St. John Lutheran Church on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday at St. John Lutheran Church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
