Jose C. Martinez

Jose C. Martinez, 64, of Hartford passed away peacefully on Friday, November 15, 2019.

He was born on October 19, 1955 to Jose and Consuelo (nee Gonzalez) Martinez in Hartford WI. On April 8, 1994 he was united in marriage to Cyndee Himes in West Bend. Jose worked in landscaping for many years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, shooting pool, and playing cribbage. He was always making everyone laugh and should have been a comedian. Jose would always help others and treated everyone fairly. Family was the most important thing to him and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Those Jose leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Cyndee Martinez; four children, Sunshine (Wally) Martinez-Wallenfang of Green Bay, Carlos Erickson of Green Bay, Jason Martinez of Hartford, and Jamie Martinez of Hartford; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Alex, Franky, Davey, Rios, Roman, Cameron, Eva; four sisters, Connie Cardenas, Barb (Chivo) Alvarez, Tanya (Lou) Ottmer, and Lynette Martinez; his brother, Jorge (Sara) Martinez; very special mother, Consuelo Martinez; mother-in-law, Jan Himes; best friends, Dwight and Luis, and too many other friends to list as he was loved by all; special nieces, Melinda and Inny; other nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Jose is preceded in death by his father, Jose Martinez and two nephews, Cory Larson and Joe Martinez

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 4 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremation Service, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
