Joyce L. Spaeth

Joyce L. Spaeth, 75, of the town of Farmington, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk.

Joyce was born on September 18, 1944 the daughter of the late Harvey Sr. and Hilda (nee Huegli) Pershke. She was united in marriage to Roger Spaeth on July 4, 1970, at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Oconomowoc. Roger preceded Joyce in death on June 13, 2017.

Those Joyce leaves behind to cherish her memory include her brother Harvey Perschke; special nieces, Barb Breuer and Deanna Perschke; other nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, LaVerne (Alois) Doll; two brothers-in-law, Robert Metzdorf and Roger Pergande; and special friends, Rich and Sandy McKee.

In addition to her husband and parents, Joyce was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Metzdorf and Wanda Pergande; two sisters-in-law, Dolores (Harold) Gundrum and Evelyn (Carl) Vogel; and her parents-in-law, Sebastian and Clara Spaeth.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Joyce will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 8883 Forest View Road, in St. Michaels. Rev. Jacob Strand will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Joyce’s family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Michael Building Fund is appreciated.
