Barbara "Barb" Vander Grinten

Barbara “Barb” Vander Grinten (Husslein), age 83 years, of the town of Lomira, passed away on January 11, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

Barb was born on June 6, 1937, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Earl and Audrey (Werner) Husslein, and on April 8, 1961, she was united in marriage to Leonard Vander Grinten in Milwaukee.  Leonard passed away in 2011.  https://www.myrhum-patten.com/obituary/Leonard-GrintenJr

Barb graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in Milwaukee.  She worked Amity Leather for many years.  Barb was very active in the Red Hat Society.  She went on many adventures traveling with the Happy Travelers.

Those Barb leaves behind to cherish her memory include her three children, Allan (Paula) Vander Grinten, Robert Vander Grinten, and Nancy (Rick) Roskom; five grandsons, Benjamin, Nicholas, Samuel, Patrick and Peter; two brothers, Don (Carol) Husslein and Mike Husslein; two brothers-in-law, David Vander Grinten and Peter (Mary Jo) Vander Grinten; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Leonard; Barb was preceded in death by a son, Patrick; grandson, Garrett; brother, Wayne Husslein; sister-in-law, Anne Liederbach; and brother-in-law, Edward Vander Grinten.

Funeral Service for Barbara will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Myrhum Patten Miller Kietzer Funeral Home in Lomira with Father Nathaniel Miniatt officiating. 

Barb’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
