Carl was lifelong member at St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane where he was a trustee and was a member of PEP Club going on numerous trips with Bonnie. Carl enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and followed all of their sporting events and other activities. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching the Packers, Badgers and Brewers where he would go tailgating on many family outings. Carl always enjoyed a pleasant conversation among a wide association of friends and sharing a good laugh. He will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and by all who knew him.

Those Carl leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Bonnie; two children, Carmen (Joseph) Zelten of West Allis and Craig (Jill) Meyer of Oak Creek; six grandchildren, Zachary Zelten, Emily Zelten, Luke Zelten, Nicholas Meyer, Ethan Meyer, and Katelyn Meyer; a sister, Elvira (Vincent) Nigh; a sister-in-law, Janet Meyer of Mayville, other relatives and friends.
