Ellen M. Patt

Ellen M. Patt (Herzog), age 89 years, of West Bend was called home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Ellen was born on April 20, 1931 in Milwaukee to Cyril and Anna Herzog (Goessner).  She was united in marriage to Myron L. Patt on August 27, 1949 in Milwaukee.

Ellen graduated from Riverside High School in Milwaukee.  She was a dental assistant for a few years, and then a full time homemaker until her children were grown.  Ellen volunteered with many groups and was very active with the Girl Scout, Boy Scouts and Pentecost Church Board and Woman’s Group (Milwaukee).  She also enjoyed singing with the church choir and at Cedar Community.  Ellen’s hobbies included needlework, reading, sewing, cross stitch ornaments and working on jigsaw puzzles.

Those Ellen leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband of 70 years, Myron; three children, Keith (Janice) Patt, Debra (Mark) Pozzi, and Karen (Michael) Kleist; five grandchildren, Jeff (Courtney) Patt, Sarah (Andy) Kneisler, Emily (Augie) Chun, Kari Kleist and Amy (Nate) Sinnott; nine great-grandchldren, Miles, Claire, Emma, Cole, Tristan, Olivia, Viola, Austin and Alexis.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph (Betty) Herzog; and sister, Audrey (Jeff) Jeffrey.

Ellen’s family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the entire staff at the Cedar Community Campus for the loving care they provided.

Due to current restrictions, a private memorial service will be held for Ellen’s family at Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend. Ellen’s service will be recorded. The video of the service will be posted on our website at www.myrhum-patten.com.
