Hollis M. Muench

   Hollis M. Muench, 70, of Beechwood, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center in Sheboygan.

   She was born on December 9, 1943, in West Bend, the daughter of the late Helmut and Irene (Ringle) Kohl, and on May 22, 1965, she was united in marriage to LeRoy Muench at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum. LeRoy preceded Hollis in death on May 5, 2006.

   Hollis was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott. She was employed by Times Printing in Random Lake, Enger Kress Company in West Bend and farmed with her husband for many years. She will fondly be remembered as one who enjoyed cross stitch, crocheting and reading. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all who knew her.

   Those Hollis leaves behind to cherish her memory include four children, Mark (Lori) Muench of Beechwood, Tammy (Troy) Stucke of Plymouth, Diana Arians (special friend, Dennis) of Lancaster and Matthew (Julie) Muench of La Mesa, California; nine grandchildren, Nicholas, Hannah, Zachary and Nathaniel Stucke, Natalie, Jackson and Brady Muench, McKenna and Ryder Arians; four step grandchildren, Andrew, John, Gabriela and Georgiana Haugen; a sister, Karen McElroy of West Bend; three brothers-in-law, Vernon (Donna) Muench of Fond du Lac, Eugene (Norma) Muench of Kewaskum and James (Kay) Muench of Batavia, other relatives and friends.

   Funeral services for Hollis were held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott. Rev. Kurt Ziemann officiated and burial was at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday in the church cemetery.

   The Muench family greeted relatives and friends at the church on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.

   The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum was entrusted with Hollis' arrangements.
