Irene E. Todd

Irene E. Todd, 64, of Mayville, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at her home.

Irene was born on July 2, 1957, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Manuel “Manny” and Maryann (Nee Miller) Silva. On July 7, 1995, she was united in marriage to Steven Lee Todd in Milwaukee. Steven preceded Irene in death on December 17, 2020. Her grandson, Jordan, was her world. She loved decorating for holidays especially Christmas. Irene enjoyed visiting with neighbors and anyone who came into her life and crossed her path. She liked gardening and watching the humming birds. Irene was a family person and was the glue that kept everyone close. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  

Those Irene leaves behind to cherish her memory include her son, Daniel; her grandson, Jordan; her siblings, Barb (Ron) Sarauer, David (Gail) Silva, Roy (Mary) Silva, Robert Silva, Marianne Breber, Monica Kornowski, Caroline (Dan) Karr, John Silva, and James (Linda) Silva; her mother-in-law, Audrey Todd; three brothers-in-law, Pat Brockman, Rick Todd, and Bruce (Sandy) Todd; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Irene was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Brockman; and her brother-in-law, Duane Kornowski.

VISITATION: Irene’s family will greet relatives and friends at the Myrhum – Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend on Friday, July 30, 2021, from Noon until 1:00 p.m.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service for Irene will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Darren Knoll officiating. Burial of Irene’s cremains will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Mayville.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE LUNCHEON: Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. a celebration of life luncheon will be held at Emerald City, 3555 South 13th Street, in Milwaukee. Please RSVP by calling or texting John Silva at 630-347-9419 (or contact Caroline Karr).
