Kristine M. Skorbier

Kristine M. “Kris” Skorbier (Strupp), age 47 years, of Fredonia unexpectedly entered Eternal Life on February 21, 2021.

Kris was born on October 18, 1973 in Hartford to Thomas and Carol Strupp  (Hauman).  She was united in marriage to Steven Skorbier on October 20, 2001 in Fredonia.

Kris graduated from Slinger High School in 1991.  She earned her Associate Degree in Business from MATC in 2009.  Kris has worked for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for many years, most recently as the Assistant Manager at the Cedarburg Distribution Center.

Kris was always very busy working and caring for her family. Her favorie hobby was camping with family and friends. She was always thinking of different camping trips that could be taken or fun things that could be done while camping. She also loved spending time with her four grandchildren and was always watching and caring for them. She loved planning time to spend with them, even if it was only at home. She also spent her free time searching and cooking up new recipies to try.

Those Kris leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband of 19 years, Steven; children, Amber (Nathan Pach) Bellomy, Samantha (Timothy) Hellman, Victoria Skorbier, and Nicolas Skorbier; grandchildren, Aria, Levi, Sophia, and Olivia; father, Thomas Strupp; and brothers, Tim (Tracy) Strupp and Craig (Mandy) Strupp; and the sister she never had, Barbara Eisentraut.  She is further survived by mother-in-law, Ione Muenchow; brother-in-law, Thomas (Julie) Skorbier; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Kris was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Strupp; father-in-law, Steven Skorbier; and brother-in-law, Paul Skorbier.

Memorial Service for Kris will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Myrhum-Patten (1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI  53095).

Kris’ family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
