I know this is very late but I just found this obituary when looking up some information on the Baptist Church in Campbellsport. Pastor David was my Mom's pastor while she was still in Wisconsin. Her name was Helen Howard and he did her funeral back in 2006. We are so very sorry to read about your loss and I just wanted to tell you how much my Mom thought about you and your family. She had nothing but good things to say about you all and was so happy that you were there in the church. The funeral service was so nice and just what Mom wanted. I know some of our relatives still talk about the wonderful service she had.
So, you have our deepest sympathy for the loss not only of Carol but also of you mother. God never puts on us more than we can bear but the load can get very heavy sometimes. I hope that you are moving forward and still serving him as you were. I know that's what Carol would have wanted.

I was very sorry to hear of Carol's illness and passing, yet we know that she is now "dancing with the angels". She is in the presence of Jesus! Praise God that He is close to those who are suffering. I know there will be a time of mourning because she was loved greatly and will be missed. With time, the peace that only our Lord can give will come upon you and your family. Cherish her memory and be comforted by God's promises, because our time on Earth is just a blink compared to eternity with Jesus!

My sincere condolences to the Nothem family. It breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love so much. The Bible assures us that God sees our pain and sadness and has promised that soon "death will be swallowed up forever."(Isaiah 25:8) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our precious loved ones to life again.(Acts 24:15) Until then, I hope the beautiful memories of Carol and these promises from God comfort you in the days to come.
