We were sorry to hear the loss of Irma, she was such a wonderful neighbor and friend to our whole family. We have many special memories and times we shared over the years with her. She was the most caring and giving person, and she always made you feel great and had wonderful words of wisdom. May the special and cherished memories you her family have of her guide you through the days ahead! God Bless and and everyone of you.

Barb, We are so happy to hear from one of mom"s best friends, you. She always spoke of you with a smile on her face. She spoke often of Tina, too. We wish you and your family the best.

To Nancy(what a great name!), Audrey, Brian and David, Growing up and living across the street from everyone-what wonderful memories that brings. Losing a parent leaves an empty spot that no one else can fill. Yet, part of her will always remain alive in you, your children, grandchildren and for generations to come. May God have you remember and pass on to your children all the great times you had with your Mom. What a wonderful way to keep those great times alive and in the hearts and lives of so many she touched.God bless you all.

Nancy, Thanks for your thoughtful message. Our moms helped develop our hearts to care for others. It's only natural we should feel lost without them, no matter how old we are. They were the heart of our families. My mom surely was. She was always kind, considerate, loving, and firm. These traits I want to hand down to my grandchildren. We have had much time to reminisce with siblings and with grandchildren. Eyes are always moist when this happens. We truly had a wonderful mom. Thanks, neighbor, for remembering her and us in your kind and thoughtful way. Say, hi, to your siblings for me. It doesn't seem so long ago that I walked across Second Ave. to babysit you kids.

Warren, thanks for your kinds words about Mom and our family. It helps to be taught well and Mom (and Dad while he was with us) made sure that happened. If we can live up to her expectations will be always be well prepared for any life challenge.

Marie, Thanks for your kind words. It was great seeing you as the brightest flower in your yard. It is nice to see someone you know when you drive through Oakfield so seldom. See you at the reunion. Have a great rest of your summer. Say Hi, to Harry.

My deepest sympathies to the family and loved ones of Irma. I was blessed to have gotten to know Irma, and her caring family, over the last four years of her life. She was an amazing, kind, and gentle woman. I look forward to seeing her again in heaven.
