Jim did many remodeling projects for us in the past 3 years. It was always a pleasure to listen to him talk about his family, friends and the dream home in Wittenberg. He was very proud of the house & the progress. He happily shared pictures every time he came to our house to work. Our thoughts & prayers go out to you & your family.

Tracey and Tanner I am so sorry for your loss. Jean, Judy and Jenny I can't imagine the hurt you feel in losing your brother. To the rest of your family and friends, Jim's passing will leave a big hole in all of our hearts. I had the good fortune to visit with Jim on different occasions this past year at the retirement home here in Wittenberg. His enthusiasm and excitement about the project was invigorating. Jim's good nature and smiling face made me feel like a kid again. I am so happy that I had a chance to get to know Jim as an adult. What a great guy and what a huge loss.

Our deepest sympathies to Tracey and Tanner, to Jim's sisters Jean, Judy and Jenny and their families, and to Roger & Joyce Schleif. We are shocked by your loss and pray for you all at this most difficult time. Jim & I were classmates at Kewaskum, fellow 1975 graduates with many shared memories. Jim was always positive and helpful whenever he could make a difference. Once an Indian, always an Indian, with a commitment to community that was appreciated by many. Jim will be missed...

Tracy and Tanner, I'm so sorry for your heartbreak at this time! It hurts my heart to even think about Jim being gone. He was a great man, who loved y'all so much! He talked often of how excited he was to finish the cabin and be able to move up there! Always updating me on how many days this year he had been up there to date. He will be missed by so many. Just know you have a lot of people here for you... Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers

Prayers and thoughts to the whole family. As newer neighbors we didn't get many chances yet to spend time with him but knew he was passionate about the cabin and loved the area.
