Ken, please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother. I enjoyed visiting with her at the club when I would see Helen. May God be with you and your family, see you at the races.

Gladys always had that "twinkle" in her eye and that grin. You knew that when you where in her company you would be laughing. We have been blessed to have known such a grand classy lady! So lets all watch for that star in the sky that has the brightest "twinkle".

My sincere sympathy to the entire family on the passing of your loved one. Gladys was a very active member of the Farmington Homemakers and the Washington Co. Assn. for Home and Community Education. As the UW Extension advisor for the organization I remember how dedicated Gladys was to the group and how determined she was as a volunteer when her help was needed for many events and activities. If you asked Gladys to help you knew it would get done right. She will be missed.

My Mother called Gladys cousin, girlfriend, substitute babysitter when Mom was in a pinch, and the one person who could bring everyone's mood up with her quick wit and humor. My Dad called her Happy Hinder... a fun take on her name Gladys. It always made us kids laugh. Gladys loved laughter and good times. Her life taught me to keep smiling when you lose people you love and to pick up the pieces and go on. She worked for our family business and also taught me accounting skills. She was kind, generous, a really great person and made terrific cream puffs. Deepest sympathies Ken and to all her loved ones.
